Note: we (family of RJV Lancaster) had frequent contact with 'Granddad & Grandma English'. He was a chauffeur to James Voase Rank (son of Joseph Rank and brother of J Arthur Rank). Some of us had the luxury of being taken to Ouborough Place by chauffeur!

There were several Ouborough Places, the final one being a part 16th century house in South Godstone called Rook's Nest (1928-1952)
